Glowing Winter Skincare Regimen

In the next few days I will be posting more tips on how to keep your skin supple and glowy (yep made that word up haha) even throughout the winter if you live in seasonal regions. Here’s tip 1:

Steam Your Face! Steaming the face does a lot for your skin. Benefits that I have noticed include putting moisture back into my skin, cleanses my pores, and allows my skin to fully receive the nourishment after cleansing including all natural healing oil and aloe vera gel that I use afterwards. Moisture for your skin is extremely important, especially in months where there is less humidity in the air and the air is extremely dry. If you don’t do this already, give it a try at least 3 times a week and see if you notice a difference.

More tips to come! Have a great day! 🙂

SN: You dont have to have a face steamer to complete this process. You can simply boil water on the stove then remove the pot from the stove, place a towel over your head trapping in the moisture and let the steam do the work. At least 15 minutes or as you feel needed.

Easy Wondrous Watermelon Smoothie

20130715-130737.jpg

Here’s a easy simple watermelon smoothie recipe. 3 ingredients! Watermelon, ice, mint leaves. You can use your discretion but I used about 2 cups of watermelon, 2 mint leaves, 1.5 cups of ice. Add more or less as you please.

The key to this recipe is the order you put your ingredients in the blender. If you don’t have a decent high speed blender, have your mint leaves on bottom, then ice, then watermelon. Happy Blending!

Juice Chronicles: Carrot Kicker

Hey, just thought i’d share a very simple and easy juice recipe with you. Its one of the first recipes I learned, and my go to, simply for its cheap ingredients. What you’ll need? Simple, apples, carrots, ginger.

You really dont need a lot of apples, as they are really sweet so 2 might enough depending on how many carrots you have. Use ginger according to taste. 1inch is usually enough for most people but if youre like me, 2-3 inches is more like it. This last juicing round, I did a whole bag of organic carrots, 4 apples, 2 inches of ginger. Bon Appetite! Any questions, post below..
